FONTANA, Calif. (AP) — Joey Logano has another driver mad at him after another race at Fontana.

Martin Truex Jr.'s day was ruined when he hit the wall during a tight bit of late racing with Logano, a participant in innumerable rivalries and disagreements over the years.

Truex was among the leaders until he took damage to the right side of his car when Logano made an aggressive attempt to get around him. Truex eventually pitted and finished 32nd, which left him furious and Logano apologetic.

Truex said Logano "ran me over" and vowed to "race him differently from now on."

Truex's crew chief, Cole Pearn, also jumped on Twitter after the race to hurl an insult at Logano, who claimed he didn't bump Truex.

"I've got no excuse besides it was just racing," Logano said. "I tried to go underneath him and fake that and then go back to the top, and I think he was going to go to the top as well. We never touched, but I was right on him, and when you're going that fast and you take the air off the spoilers, the cars get uncontrollable. So I hate that I hurt his day, for sure.

Logano was in the middle of a wild, controversial finish at Fontana in 2013.

He made contact with Denny Hamlin on the final lap while both were racing for the lead on the final turn, and the ensuing crash sent Hamlin to the hospital while Kyle Busch roared past Logano to win. Logano was in a huge argument with Tony Stewart after that race.
