DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Clint Bowyer was the big winner at the annual Hot Rods & Reels Fishing Tournament at Daytona International Speedway.

Bowyer caught the largest fish, reeling in a 3.02-pound bass on Lake Lloyd inside the famed speedway. Bowyer's team, which included 3-year-old son Cash, also won the event with a three-fish total of 6.8 pounds.

Martin Truex, Jr.'s team finished second with a total weight of 5.01 pounds. Donnie Allison's team took third.

The fishing tournament benefits The Darrell Gwynn Quality of Life Chapter of The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis. Gwynn, a Hall of Fame drag racer paralyzed 28 years ago, donated a custom wheelchair to 9-year-old quadriplegic Owen Johnson.

Other participants included Bobby Allison, Donnie Allison, David Blaney, Joey Coulter, Brad Keselowski, Michael McDowell, Larry McReynolds, Ryan Newman, Max Papis and David Ragan.
