BROOKLYN, Mich. (AP) — Joey Logano's season went downhill in a hurry, and there's no one problem that's solely to blame.

"We have about 15 areas, we think. It could be here, could be there. Really, a lot of it is process of elimination," he said. "Over time we should be able to get back where we want to and already we are moving that way."

Logano finished in the top 10 in eight of the first nine NASCAR Cup Series races this season, capped by a victory at Richmond. Since then, he's been out of the top 20 in five straight races.

This weekend, he'll be at Michigan International Speedway, where he's won twice, including once last year.

"Anytime you come to one of your best race tracks like here at Michigan — especially the way our last month-and-a-half has gone — it is a confidence builder for sure," he said.
