Not even Texas could turn around Jimmie Johnson's luck.

The seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion's career-long winless streak reached 30 races after he was involved in a crash at Texas Motor Speedway, where he won a record seven Cup races.

While Johnson was in the middle of the pack at the time, any chance for a late push to the front ended when he was caught up in a seven-car crash on the first lap after the restart following the second stage. He finished only 175 of the scheduled 334 laps.

Johnson has 83 career wins, but hasn't been to Victory Lane since Dover last June.
