From Le Mans to Road America, a big week for Bourdais

ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (AP) — Sebastien Bourdais speaks reverently about the Le Mans 24-hour race in his native France, as if some mythical force has a hand in the competition.

"I don't know what's the criteria ... All I can tell you is Le Mans picks its winner," Bourdais said.

If that's the case, this year, the race finally picked him.

Tony Stewart ready for final season to come to an end

SONOMA, Calif. (AP) — There was a twinge of nostalgia in Tony Stewart's voice as he was inducted into the Sonoma Raceway Wall of Fame.

Then his mood quickly turned as he talked about the reasons he's retiring from NASCAR competition at the end of the season.
