Kyle Busch said on his radio that he will need medical attention after the completion of today's race because he is overheated in the car following an earlier accident.

He had earlier called in requesting a bag of ice to dump down his fire suit.

Busch won two races in the first round of the Cup Series playoffs, but the second round is off to a rough start for the driver of No. 18 Toyota. Busch hit the outside wall with 198 laps to go, causing damage to his back right bumper.

The accident has dropped Busch one lap down of the field at the time. He has been able to return to the field but is not running well and may need more work on the right rear quarterpanel.

He has battled a loose call all day hitting the wall a second time and spinning out with 55 laps to go. He has falled four laps back of the field _ the last of the four competitors remaining in the playoff race.

Busch won the All-Star race at Charlotte earlier this year.
