HOMESTEAD, Fla. (AP) -- Actors Wilmer Valderrama and Justin Hartley will help NASCAR kick off the Sprint Cup finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Valderrama, who stars in "NCIS," will serve as honorary starter for Sunday's 400-mile race that will determine the champion. Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards and Joey Logano are the four title contenders.

"I've always been a fan of racing so being an honorary starter for a NASCAR race is incredible," Valderrama said. "I'm looking forward to waving the green flag and hearing the cars fly by as they compete for the 2016 Sprint Cup Series championship."

Hartley, who stars in "This Is Us," will serve as grand marshal and give the command "drivers, start your engines."

"As a huge NASCAR fan, I'm both excited and honored to be named grand marshal of the Ford EcoBoost 400," Hartley said. "I'm very much looking forward to a wonderful weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway."

The pre-race festivities include a concert by The Band Perry. Jencarlos Canela will sing the national anthem.
